Wellness Consults

The Vedic sciences (Ayurveda, yoga and beyond) are like an owner’s manual for being human. They are deep and vast, but also practical, providing a pathway for living in alignment with nature on all levels of our being - body, mind and spirit.

We live in a culture that promises quick fixes, but nature — and our bodies — don’t work that way. Ahimsa (non-violence) is the guiding principle for both Yoga and Ayurveda. This applies to our outward actions, but also to how we care for ourselves. Therefore, we follow the MIDDLE PATH with a gentle and loving approach, avoiding harsh practices, extremes and self-judgment.

Prevention is of primary importance in Ayurveda. Problems that arise months or years from now are rooted in this time, and incorporating simple practices with consistency can have a profound effect. By adjusting our lives to be in tune with the change of seasons, daily and nightly cycles and the stages of life, we become more awake and aware, naturally gravitating towards a more balanced, calm and clear Sattvic life.

Like a sunflower turning towards the sun, we can design our lives to move in the direction we want to go.
