Meet Linda Sheehan

my journey

A lifelong seeker, I have been a student of holistic wellness for more than three decades. In my 20s, I studied psychology, nutrition and acupuncture. In my 30s, my focus divinely shifted to motherhood, but my passion for feeding and caring for my family only intensified my commitment to holistic health.

As my children grew, I began searching for ways to be of greater service in the world outside my home. In my 40s, I became certified in plant-based nutrition, worked at my local farmers market, cooked for private clients and became more deeply connected to the workings of the local food system.

Decades of navigating the confusion and contradictions in the wellness space and my endless search for knowledge led me to deepen my studies in the Vedic sciences, beginning with Yoga philosophy and Ayurveda. It felt like finally coming home!

The Vedas are ancient texts filled with instructions for living a good life - an owner’s manual for being human!

Being supported by the principles of Ayurveda has completely reframed my perspective on life, from the simplest daily routines to the larger philosophical views of purpose and what it means to live a good life.

Ayurveda is a deep and vast science, but also a very practical one, based on the 3 primary pillars of health:

Nourishment

Sleep

Energy Management

Better digestion, better sleep and optimized sense organs give a clear sense of the self and how we exist as part of the lifestream on this planet.

Unlike many health care systems, Ayurveda views each individual as unique.
There is no one size fits all.

In our modern lives, we’ve been conditioned to look for a quick fix.  But nature — and our bodies — don’t work that way.  When you take one step, the next will follow.  As you begin to create change, that change begins to shift what you want!

With consistency and commitment, small changes lead to true healing on every level of our beings - body, mind and spirit.

As an Ayurvedic educator, I teach from a place of compassion and deep reverence for nature and all living things, holding space for others to tend their own flame.

I am honored to be a steward of this deep and beautiful lineage, connecting people to themselves, to each other and to nature itself.

Linda Sheehan has a beautiful way of making Ayurveda feel both accessible and deeply nourishing. Her “Ayurveda: The Art of Living” workshop was informative, grounding, and truly relaxing. The two hours flew by. I could have stayed much longer. I left feeling inspired, restored, and excited to continue learning from Linda.
